Marine Haul-Out and Yard Services

This subcontract for Marine Haul-Out and Yard Services supports Virginia Marine Resources Commission workboat projects by providing essential dry-docking and storage solutions. The selected provider will be responsible for hauling a 41-foot fiberglass workboat from the water using a travel lift or marine hoist and ensuring the vessel remains in secure storage throughout the overhaul process. To qualify, the facility must be certified and located within 20 miles of Queens Creek Marina in Mathews, Virginia. While the contractor provides the storage and hoisting services, the Virginia Marine Resources Commission maintains responsibility for transporting the vessel to and from the facility.
