Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This is a solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) Soliciting from a single source. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Specialized Contracting Office (PZIMB), intends to negotiate with System Planning Corporation, CAGE Code: 9G490, 3601 Wilson BLVD Arlington, VA, 22201-2362, on a sole source basis under the authority of 13.106-a (b). The Air Force will issue a new contract to design a software patch/upgrade to allow the existing Mark V Radar System located in building 1424 at Hill Air Force Base to interface with a new Delta Sigma Corporation Rotational Control System. Prior to the installation of the new rotational control system, the contractor shall assess the Mark V Radar to verify full functionality in preparation for installation.
