Full Description

The Government is seeking a Contractor to provide wetland restoration for Mary's Creek WRP located at the Archbold Biological Station in Highlands County. The major items of work are: clearing and grubbing; structure removal; excavation; earthfill (construction of ditch plugs and filling of existing ditches); re-constructing a meandering portion of a creek; installing geocell filled with gravel for low water crossings; installing ConTech bridge or equal; installing rock rip rap; and seeding and mulching. This is a sealed bid procurement. The government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the closing date. Solicitations will be posted on FedBizopps on or about February 25, 2010 and are due March 25, 2010 at 2:30pm local time. All solicitation documents will be available in electronic format at www.fbo.gov. Faxed bids will not be accepted. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration data base to be eligible for award. The dollar range for the project is $500,000 to $1,000,000 and the estimated time for completion is 151 calendar days. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 and the SBA size is $31 million.
