Match Fuzee

NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below: Item 1: Description: Match Fuzee The requirement is for the supply of a Match Fuzee (Quantity – 10,000 Packages with 10 Match Fuzee and one Striker per Package) to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The Match Fuzee will be used primarily in military applications for the lighting of fuses, but may also be used by fire departments. The Match Fuzee is a safety strike match that is both windproof and waterproof to produce a burn. When struck, the tip of the match ¬flames and ignites the main composition, which burns red hot without a flame, evolving only smoke for the total composition length. They are primarily used in military applications for the lighting of fuses, but are also used by fire departments. Required Delivery: - 4,000 packages of Match Fuzee; - Goods delivery - Incoterms 2010 FCA Free Carrier at the Contractor's shipping point, - Consignee location - Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn - Dundurn, Saskatchewan; and, - 6,000 packages of Match Fuzee; - Goods delivery - Incoterms 2010 FCA Free Carrier at the Contractor's shipping point, - Consignee location - Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Angus – Borden, Ontario; on or before 01 December 2023. 1.
