MCCLELLAN-PALOMAR AIRPORT – AIRPORT USE PERMIT TO PALOMAR AIRPORT ASSOCIATION FOR A SPECIAL EVENT YOUTH AVIATION DAY (PA-667) (DISTRICT: 3)

The County of San Diego has approved an airport use permit for the Palomar Airport Association, acting as a sublessee under the master lessee Palomar Aviation Road 2006 LLC. This permit authorizes the use of a hangar located at 2008 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad, California, at the McClellan-Palomar Airport to host Youth Aviation Day. The educational event is designed to accommodate up to 900 guests and will feature a static display of airplanes. The scope of the permit is strictly limited to activities directly associated with the event, including set-up and cleanup. This project is classified as a Notice of Exemption under Section 15301 of the California Environmental Quality Act because it does not involve the expansion of existing airport facilities.
