The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a Small Indoor commercial cannabis license submitted on 4/21/23, by MCD Services LLC. The Project will consist of mature and immature cannabis cultivation activities in addition to their active manufacturing license DCC-10005092. Project activities take place within 9,675 sq ft of a 15,849 sq ft lot at APN: 2214-022-021 in Los Angeles City in the Light Manufacturing Zone M2-1. On-site cultivation activities include indoor growing, propagation, and harvesting of cannabis plants. Applicant proposes 6,8802 sq ft of mature canopy split among 6 rooms and 390 sq ft of immature canopy split among 2 rooms. Operations will utilize environmentally controlled grow rooms with integrated irrigation, lighting, and HVAC systems to ensure consistent quality and compliance. After harvesting, plant material will be dried, cured, trimmed, and prepared for further processing or packaging. Electricity and water provided by the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power. Per CDFW no Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement is needed. A Conditional Waiver of Waste and Water Discharge Requirements was issued on 5/23/23. Non-volatile manufacturing license DCC-10005092 operations focus on producing cannabis products using extraction methods that do not involve volatile solvents. This includes techniques such as rosin pressing, ice water hash processing, and mechanical separation. Final products may include concentrates, pre-rolls, and infused products, which are packaged and labeled in accordance with state regulations. All processes are conducted in compliance with health and safety standards, with designated workflow areas to separate raw material handling, production, and finished goods storage.
