The existing valve, identified as Asset No. 40920 and Tag No. HV-46106, serves the Unit 5 Circulating Water System at McIntosh Power Plant. The existing equipment is a 60-inch Val-Matic valve, Model 2060/WG41M, equipped with a Limitorque PTC250/6 gearbox and was installed in December 2013. Due to the size, application, and cost associated with replacement of this equipment, Lakeland Electric is seeking competitive bids for a complete replacement assembly. The replacement equipment must be suitable for the existing circulating water service and compatible with the existing installation. In addition to the complete replacement assembly, Lakeland Electric intends to procure critical spare parts for inventory to support future maintenance and long-term equipment reliability.
