NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT SOLE SOURCE The Defense Logistics Agency, Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA Medical Directorate intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to McKesson Technologies Inc, 5995 Windward Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005-4184 for the procurement of a brand name Digital Imaging Network-Picture Archive Communications System (DIN-PACS) Service Maintenance Agreement. This order for brand name maintenance, to be performed June 01, 2017 through August 31, 2017, will be placed on a sole source basis with McKesson Technologies as the following circumstance in FAR 13.106-1(b) applies: only one source is capable of providing the services required at the level of quality required because the servicers are unique or highly specialized. The maintenance is for a DIN-PACS already in place at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. The absence of this maintenance could negatively impact the fidelity and the performance of the procedures exercised, and would decrease the utility and relevance of the equipment. Thus, only the exact brand name maintenance will meet the customer's needs. The estimated value of this contract is $91,000.00. Delivery schedule will be discussed prior to issuing the purchase order. The anticipated award date is May 25, 2017. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, that all responsible sources and interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting technical data for this requirement data within 5 calendar days of this notice posting (no later than May 17, 2017, by 12:01 PM EST, to Jethro Maldonado, via email at jethro.maldonado@dla.mil, which shall be considered by the agency.
