Full Description

The project would consolidate the existing Meadow Pointe Water System into the Upper Lake County Water District. Meadow Pointe’s water source is contaminated with MTBE and has been ordered by the State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water to find a new water source. Improvements to the Upper Lake water system would be made to provide service to Meadow Pointe via a master meter. The Meadow Pointe distribution system would be replaced. Additionally, residents along Bridge Arbor North Road would be provided with water service as their wells are similarly contaminated. The project would include LAFCO action to bring new water service areas into the Upper Lake water service area and sphere of influence.
