The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has a requirement for meal preparation services, including delivery, to 339 Guay Road, St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, QC, J0J 1V0. Given the high volume of assylum seekers arriving near the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle port of entry (POE), CBSA must ensure that the assylum seekers essential nutritional needs are met. While the CBSA processes assylum seekers on site, they remain on hold at the Lacolle site. Processing times can vary depending on traffic and sometimes, can exceed 24 hours. The Contractor must prepare and deliver meals and snacks ordered by the CBSA upon request. Trade Agreements: This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and all international free trade agreements including the World Trade Organization-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA). Solicitation documents: All relevant material/documentation will be posted on CanadaBuys at the same time as this Notice of Proposed Procurement. Debriefings: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
