Medical Fridge and Freezer Maintenance Service for the Quebec Region

Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to perform preventive maintenance on refrigerators and freezers used to store medications in the Health Centres for all CSC institutions in the Quebec Region.
Objectives: Provide maintenance of medical refrigerators and freezers so that they meet Accreditation Canada standards and manufacturer's recommendations in order to ensure that the medications are stored at the right temperature and to extend the life of the refrigerators and freezers as a result by performing preventive maintenance on them.
a) Deliverables: Preventive maintenance: The Contractor must submit, upon each visit, to the Head of Physical Health Services, a report stating what was done to the refrigerators and freezers.
b) Repairs not covered by preventive maintenance: The Contractor must submit, to the Head of Physical Health Services, a cost estimate. It must be approved prior to proceeding with repairs. It must include:
i. Date,
ii. Technician’s name,
iii. Company name,
iv. Description of defect,
v. Price of replacement part(s) (in stock or estimated time to receive parts),
vi. Estimated repair time,
vii. Estimated total cost of repair.
c) For both preventive maintenance and repairs not covered by preventive maintenance:
The Contractor must submit to the Head of Physical Health Services the Certificate of Calibration attesting that everything is compliant with Accreditation Canada standards.
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Period of the Contract: The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to January 31, 2025 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
