Full Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10USC 2304 ( c ) (1) to Scientech Inc., 5649 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder CO 80303-1399. NAICS Code is 333997 and Business Size standards 500. The contractor shall provide the following: (1) Scientech Model H410 Handheld digital/analog power & energy indicator for calorimeters, Qty: 1 each (2) Scientech Model P25 2mm Aperture Pyroelectric Detector (includes cable), Qty: 1 each (3) Scientech Model AC50HD, 50mm Aperture Surface Absorbing, high damage disc calorimeter (includes cable), Qty: 1 each The U.S. Army Public Health Command requires these items that are compatible to the ones currently on-hand. Scientech is the manufacturer and there are no resellers available for proprietary items. Please see the attachment labeled, "justification" for further detail as to why this action is being negotiated solely with Scientech Inc., Cage Code: 33833. There are no solicitation documents; however, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in System For Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going on via web to https://www.sam.gov. Responses must be received no later than 11:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, 8 August 2017. Responses should be submitted electronically to contact@example.gov This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.
