AI Contract Overview

This contract is a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) long-term contract for four metering fuel pump variants specifically designed for the HMMWV vehicle systems, supporting both 6.2L and 6.5L diesel engines across Legacy, Legacy (A2), and Up-Armored versions. The fuel pumps covered are associated with the following National Stock Numbers (NSNs): 2910-01-633-7261, 2910-01-633-7271, 2910-01-641-0007, and 2910-01-641-0042, with part numbers D82831-6278, D82831-6277, D82829-6286, and D82831-6282, all sourced from Stanadyne Corporation (CAGE: 84760). Minimum and maximum quantity requirements are specified for each NSN over the contract duration: 132 to 3,300 units for the 6.5L Detuned variant, 168 to 6,841 for the 6.5L Aspirated, 45 to 1,125 for the 6.2L Basic, and 363 to 10,890 for the 6.5L Turbo. Packaging requirements include Military B or Military B with Special Packaging Instructions, depending on NSN, and all deliveries are FOB Destination. This solicitation represents a consolidation of previously separate long-term contracts for each pump variant into a single, comprehensive procurement. The government will evaluate and potentially award contracts on an "All or None by NSN" basis, meaning each NSN will be assessed independently and may be awarded to different responsive bidders based on the total evaluated price over the five-year period. There is no government-owned technical data or drawings for these items, so the contract relies on the original manufacturer’s supply chain. The solicitation process is being managed by DLA Land Warren in Michigan, and interested parties are directed to follow the instructions within the solicitation to submit proposals, with the deadline set for June 30, 2025.

Each NSN will be evaluated separately with the potential for split awards to be made to the responsive low offeror for each NSN based on the total evaluated price for all five ordering years by NSN. This is a Consolidated requirement, as each Fuel Injection Pump variant NSN was historically solicited and awarded on individual LTCs. A copy of the signed Consolidation determination document is posted with the solicitation. Please see the solicitation document for instructions on how to properly submit your proposal.
