The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Defense Security Assistance Development Center (DSADC) has a requirement to upgrade several different existing Microsoft (MS) software packages and provide Software Assurance (SA) (i.e., maintenance and support) from Microsoft. The software includes Exchange 2010, System Center, SharePoint 2010, SQL Server, Office 2010, Windows 7, Project and Visio. All of the software will be upgraded except the software requiring the True Up process (Exchange Server Standard software, SQL Server Enterprise Core software, and Windows Server Standard 2008 R2). The SharePoint Server software, Windows Server software, and SQL Server software require one year of SA. The Exchange Server Standard software, SQL Server Enterprise Core software, and Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 require the True-Up process for one year. Only small businesses that are certified Microsoft resellers will be considered for award of this order. The item descriptions for the Microsoft (MS) software package upgrade, MS Software Assurance and True Up process are outlined in the attached solicitation.
