The INL office in implementation of the project titled - Building Capacities of the Newly Established Anti-corruption Bodies in Investigation and Prosecution of High-level Corruption in Ukraine is supporting the stand-up of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Forensic Unit, for which INL is requested to purchase a generic software packs for forensic purposes witch are: - Microsoft Windows 10 Pro FPP. Due to the fact that X-Ways Forensics is the piece of software that needs to be utilized with Microsoft operating system. As the installations of the Microsoft operating system should be conducted on live boot media full packaged product (FPP) software type should be applied to justify a license. Currently Microsoft offers for a market as a full packaged product Windows 10 operating system that matches forensic requirements. Pro version of the system allows to use Bitlocker encryption on necessary circumstances as well as support domain architecture and remote desktop service if operating system need to be fully deployed to a computer. Microsoft Windows 10 Pro FPP was selected due to significant fact that only this operating system is compatible with X-Ways Forensics and matches forensic requirements on technical and legal matters. This is the reason for purchasing Microsoft Windows 10 Pro FPP software.
