Minuteman III Ground System Hardness Intersite Cable System (HICS) Ground and Sealing Device replacement

The HICS G&S Devices are located and utilized in the Launch Facilities (LF) and Launch Control Center (LCC). The purpose of the G&S Device is to seal ground water intrusion into the LF and LCC capsules by way of the HICS cables. The HICS G&S Device also provides common grounding between the LF and LCC capsules and the HICS cable grounding shield. The HICS Cable and G&S Devices were installed in the early 1960s, so the devices are aging and some require repair or replacement. The scope of work to be completed includes: (1) Build of Full Assembly HICS G&S Devices, (2) Build of Multi Size Internal G&S Device Repair Components, and (3) Build Multi Size Spare HICS G&S Device Assemblies and Multi Size Internal HICS G&S Device Components.
