Funded entirely by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, this project involves the design, build, and installation of replacement P3IO3 circuit board controls for MIOX P3 water treatment units. The project is managed by the USDA Forest Service and is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 334419. The requirement stems from the fact that the original circuit boards have become obsolete, necessitating the creation of a functional equivalent to maintain critical water treatment equipment at various locations, including the Six Rivers, Los Padres, and Daniel Boone National Forests. The scope of work includes the design, supply, and installation of the boards, as well as technical support, with a government cost estimate of under 100,000 dollars. Technical requirements are based on the P3IO3 Controller series, which utilizes 12Vdc solar power and incorporates specific software for remote monitoring, data logging, and EPA compliance. The project leverages existing hardware specifications and source code, specifically version 1.13, to ensure the new boards perform the exact functions of the original obsolete components.
