Mission Continuity Plan

The purpose of this contract is to procure services for maintaining the Mission Continuity Plan (MCP)/Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) in support of the Operations Directorate (N3) of Military Sealift Command (MSC). The Contractor will be required to furnish the necessary materials, equipment, and qualified personnel to provide this support. Services will include developing and maintaining the following: the MSC disaster recovery plan; the MSC MCP/COOP for MSCHQ, MSC Norfolk, and subordinate commands; the MSC Business Impact Analysis (BIA); and the MSC Information Technology Contingency Plan. This requirement will be fulfilled through the award of a firm-fixed-priced contract. The period of performance will include a one one-year firm period, with two (2) one-year option periods. This procurement is a FAR Part 12 acquisition being conducted using contracting by negotiation procedures as defined in FAR Part 15. Accordingly, contracting by negotiation procedures apply.
