Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked PROPRIETARY will be handled accordingly. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Proprietary information or trade secrets should be clearly identified. Description: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD), Indian Head, Maryland is requesting information on Underwater Imaging Systems (UIS). This system shall perform its intended functions for Magnetic and Acoustic influence mine threats. An integrated system must enable the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians the ability to accomplish the following functions: operate independently in navigation mode, sensor mode or an integrated navigation/sensor mode; and record data, image and location, including depth. The Diver should be able to operate the system with one hand, including while using cold water gloves, must be neutral buoyancy, and capable to function to a max depth of 300 feet of sea water (FSW). We are currently seeking vendors that have or can manufacture LCD panels currently listed in the UIS TDP Part Number 7458825, it was originally manufactured by the Kyocera Company and it's part number was KHS072VGQMB-G83 or KHS072VG1MB-G83. This market survey solicits vendors' information that fully explains their existing technology's features, capabilities, and performance. Commercial, non-developmental, and developmental systems may be included in the information provided. SUBMISSIONS: Information may be provided in the form of white papers, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and specifications sheets. Limit your response to 20 pages.
