Full Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-17-G-5390 on a sole source basis to BAE Land & Armaments, L.P. (BAE) without providing for full and open competition. BAE will provide engineering and technical services in support of the MK 51 Advance Gun System (AGS). The period of performance shall be 60 months after receipt of the order. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact BAE directly. BAE is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and background of the MK 51 AGS to satisfy the engineering and technical services requirements of the Government in a timely and economical manner. The delivery order will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSED ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMIMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.
