31 CONS Aviano AB intends to hold an Industry Day on 31 July 13 at 31st Contracting Squadron, Via Pordenone, Area "E" Edif. 600, Base Aerea di Aviano, 33081 Aviano (pn), Italy at 10:00 a.m. The Industry Day is being held to improve Industry's requirement of the Air Force requirements to provide mobile communication services to include cellular phone, Blackberry, Wirless data card, Smart phone, Tablet, and encrypted phone call service with 3G and 4G mobile communication Technology standards. The industry Day will include an overview of the Air Force's near term and long term ccompetitive requirmenets and allow industry partners the opportunity to ask questions and to receive feedback from the Government. Interested parties are required to RSVP for the Industry Day by 02:00 pm 22 July 13 by email to Ornella Bresil, Contracting Officer at ornella.bresil@us.af.mil and Liviana Borghese, Contract Specialist @ livian.borghese@us.af.mil The RSVP shall include the following information: Subject line Aviano AB Industry Day RSVP, and in the body of the email provide the attendees name, company name, e-mail address, and telephone number. Space in the schduled conference room is limited. Therefore in order to help ensure access to multiple companies, interested parties are limited to 2 attendees per company. This Industru Day is set aside to mobile service companies legally able to provide mobile communication services in Italy. Attached is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW). Thisd announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Air Force does not assume liability for costs incurred by the attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore attendees costs in response to this notice are not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
