Mobility Equipment and Servicing

The scope of work required under this request includes The scope of this request is to identify a company or individual to provide Mobility Devices for resident purchase/use as well as certain related equipment required by the County of Lambton. In addition, the successful proponent will provide regular service and maintenance to the inventory of devices that are currently in use within the homes. The proponent will on a regular basis attend at each of the County's Homes to provide assistance, guidance, advice to the Home residents during the contract period. The service provider must be experienced in all aspects of the supply service and fitting of mobility and related devices. Preference will be given to proponents who have previous experience in providing this service in a Long-Term Care or similar Home. Whenever possible, service will be provided on site. The Proponent shall supply all necessary tools and materials required to maintain service. The County shall supply an area where service can be performed. Proponents are required to service all three of the County's homes.
