Model Applied Behavior Analysis Classroom Development

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) plans to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract to Reinforcement Unlimited for the development of Model Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) classrooms at Loyd Elementary and Faith Middle schools located on Fort Benning, Georgia. The services aim to support current students with significant Autism Spectrum Disorders by providing expert guidance on classroom setup, individualized teaching methodologies such as discrete trial training, and behavioral protocols. The contractor will be responsible for conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans tailored for each student, assisting in data collection and analysis, modeling student-specific behavior strategies for staff, and offering Individualized Education Program (IEP) support and recommendations. Performance involves bi-monthly visits to both schools throughout the regular academic year. The contract’s period of performance is set from September 1, 2014, or the time of award through May 31, 2015. The procurement is being conducted as a sole source acquisition, pending justification and approval in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines. The solicitation documentation and performance work statement are currently under development. The contracting office responsible is located within the DoDEA Americas Regional Office in Peachtree City, Georgia, with execution taking place in Columbus, Georgia.
