--Monaco Mass Notification System

The US Army Field Support Command intends to issue a firm fixed price sole source contract to Monaco Enterprises for the purchase and installation of BT-XM with Mass Notification applications in support of McAlester Army Ammunition Plants 3-building project. This system will be an operational system that is capable of providing real-time information via pre-recorded messages, tones, and live-voice transmissions to all building occupants and to personnel outside of building during emergency situation s. This contract is a follow-on acquisition for additional applications at McAlester. McAlester currently has the Monaco Mass Notification Systems installed in numerous structures on the installation and this additional 3-building project system must be compatible with the existing system. Replacing the existing system verses purchasing the same system for compatibility would result in unnecessary duplication of costs to the Government. Interested parties shall identify their interest in writing and must include prices and descriptions containing sufficient technical documentation to establish capability to meet the requirements. All interested firms that can meet the requirements set forth above are requested to submit responses, but only in writing wit h clear and convincing documentation within 15 days of publication of this announcement to: US Army Sustainment Command, ATTN: AMSAS-ACA-I, Ms. Sally Winn, Rock Island, IL 61299-6500. If no responses clearly demonstrate another vendors ability to meet the Governments requirements without duplicating costs, a contract will be awarded to Monaco Enterprises.
