The County Commissioners of Charles County are hereby requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for 24/7 alarm monitoring, maintenance, repair, installation, and additional services. This will include burglar and fire alarms at numerous county government facilities which include county government building, county courthouse, senior centers, public facilities locations, recreation centers, park facilities and other facility locations throughout the county. Institutional working knowledge of county facilities, operations, personnel, and operating systems is preferred. Annual testing of the fire alarms is also required. Existing equipment will be used, and no actions will be taken to convert the equipment to a proprietary status. At the time of the bids being submitted you must be a registered and Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certified alarm monitoring company in the state of Maryland and monitoring must be performed in a UL certified central station.
