Monument Sign

The Jefferson Parish Government is soliciting bids for solicitation number 296 to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to fabricate and install one single-sided polystyrene monument style sign at Parc des Familles, located at 6101 Leo Kerner Parkway in Marrero, Louisiana. The scope of work includes site preparation, marking existing utilities, minor grading for drainage, and restoring the site to its original condition upon completion. The contractor must provide sign submittals and color samples for parish approval prior to ordering and is required to warrant all materials and workmanship for one year following final acceptance. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A critical requirement for responsiveness is the submission of final insurance certificates complying with Jefferson Parish Resolution No. 136353 or No. 141125 within ten calendar days of the bid opening. Work must be performed on non-holiday weekdays between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, and no activity may begin until the contractor receives a written Notice to Proceed or Purchase Order and provides a minimum twenty-four hour notice to the parish. The project is managed by Brent Griffin, and the exact placement of the sign will be determined in the field by the park supervisor.
