*THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)*


1. Introduction:


This is a Request for Information for market research purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Invitation for Bid (IFB). Please submit all information to maximos.ramirez@us.af.mil, if you have questions, you may email or call at (229) 257-4712.


2. Background & Objective:


The 820th Base Defense Group (820 BDG) and 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing (93 AGOW), Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, is seeking information from qualified vendors for the procurement and turn-key installation of a closed-network Access Control System (ACS) and Video Monitoring System (CCTV) at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The selected vendor will be required to supply all necessary parts, equipment, software, and labor, while removing any unnecessary legacy components.


3. Scope of Work Summary:


Core capabilities required include, but are not limited to:


Access Control System - Install two-factor (CAC & PIN) readers at the main entry door. Equip doors with Balanced Magnetic Switch (BMS) / magnet locks, Request to Exit (REX) sensors, and manual release buttons. Provide a concealed "panic/lock-down" button at the reception desk to instantly secure exterior doors. System must maintain a 24-hour battery backup in case of power loss and comply with UFC, NFPA-101, and NFPA-72.


Control Workstation – Contractor must provide a stand-alone computer workstation (Windows 11) located in designated room (or approved alternate). The system must operate completely offline (no AFNET, Wi-Fi, or commercial internet connectivity). Must log entry data (stored for at least 45 days) and allow schedule configurations (e.g., holidays, auto-locking).


Video Monitoring (CCTV) - Install CCTV cameras at 6 specified interior locations. Cameras must be capable of producing at least 2K quality video in low-light/Infrared (IR) conditions with facial feature recognition. Footage must be retained for a 120-day period and be fully integrated/controlled via the ACS workstation.


Installation & Training - Installation to occur M-F, 0800–1630. Vendor must conduct system training for USG personnel and provide As-Built drawings and O&M manuals upon completion.


Warranty & Support - Minimum 1-year warranty on workmanship, parts, and labor. Service response time for in-scope issues shall not exceed three (3) business days.


4. Requested Information (Capability Statement):


Interested and capable vendors are requested to submit a Capability Statement addressing their ability to meet the requirements outlined above. Responses should be concise and include the following:
