AI Contract Overview
Bids are being solicited for a leased lit fiber service under the E-rate program by the Moore County School District in North Carolina, targeting three specific locations: the Moore Institute of Health, the Data Center, and the CLC. The contract seeks a standalone data transmission service, and vendors must comply with all North Carolina procurement laws, include all fees and taxes in their quotes, and clearly separate any charges ineligible for E-rate funding. Bids must reference Form 470 number 270000166, the entity number, and the agency name, and must adhere to the FCC’s Lowest Corresponding Price rule. Vendors awarded the contract are required to assist with the Bulk Upload Template for Form 471 and must accommodate flexible contract terms that allow for scaling service levels up or down as needs change over time. Contracts may include multiyear terms with voluntary extensions, but any such extension must be explicitly defined in duration within the awarded agreement. Failure to meet any of these conditions will result in bid disqualification, and all awards are contingent on the availability of E-rate funding. Submissions are due by September 2, 2026, and all inquiries must be directed through the designated RFP URL, not to listed technical contacts.
