SOURCES SOUGHT – Motorola Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Batteries
The Government is conducting market research to identify qualified commercial vendors capable of delivering approximately 100 units of Motorola model PMNN4505A batteries for use with Motorola APX 8000XE, APX 8000, APX 8000R, and APX 6000XE series radios. Shipment will be to Port of Jacksonville at 8998 BLOUNT ISLAND BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32226; shipment will then be packaged for shipment via barge to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for acceptance.
The information gathered will assist in refining the procurement strategy, determining commercial item availability, establishing delivery timelines, and identifying potential small business set-aside opportunities. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and market planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Furthermore, it does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary.
Interested vendors are requested to provide a capabilities package containing the following information:
- Company Information: Company Name, CAGE Code, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), GSA MAS Contract Number (if applicable), and Socioeconomic Designations (e.g., Small Business, SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone).
- Technical Capability: Product literature and current stock levels directly demonstrating compliance with the requirement stated above.
- Lead Time & Delivery: Estimated lead time after receipt of order (ARO) to delivery at final destination (FOB Destination).
- Pricing Estimate: Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) unit pricing, any volume discounts, and standard commercial warranty terms.
