This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is W-1-W1-19-19-B32 and is a request for quotation and the closing date is 2:00 pm (CDT) on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811213. This requirement is set aside for Small Businesses in accordance with FAR 19.1405. Requirement: The IRS has a total of 68 Motorola radios that require preventative maintenance checks and two battery options for new batteries. The two radios are the Motorola HT750 (qty 15) and the Motorola PR400 (qty 53). The IRS would like to see two options for new batteries. One non-lithium and one lithium (impress). This will require an additional line for the new impress battery chargers as well.
