AI Contract Overview
This contract pertains to the procurement of 22 units of a resilient mount weapon system, designated under NSN/Part Number 5342-01-303-4008. It is managed by the Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division through the Defense Logistics Agency with a delivery requirement set at 137 days after contract award. The solicitation, issued under number SPE4A6-26-U-2445, includes strict technical and quality requirements governed by the Defense Logistics Agency Master List, with adherence to packaging standards as per DLA guidance. Sampling and quality assurance will follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 plans, with specific verification levels and acceptance criteria for critical, major, and minor attributes. Government identification removal is required for non-accepted supplies. Notably, item unique identification is waived as per service customer request, and the export control clause mandates adherence to ITAR and EAR regulations, restricting technical data access to authorized contractors with required certifications and training. The contract emphasizes security and compliance measures, with export-controlled technical data limited to contractors with approved certifications, ensuring protection under DFARS 252.225-7048 and related regulations. Distribution of such data requires DLA approval following appropriate training and questionnaires to safeguard sensitive information. The point of contact for this solicitation is David Lucas, available via email and phone. This contract underscores rigorous quality, compliance, export control, and delivery stipulations critical to supporting defense acquisition needs under federal management in the manufacturing sector classified under NAICS code 332994.
