The contract may be renewed for up to three additional one-year periods, with a 3% price increase applied annually to offset rising costs. Bidders are encouraged to schedule a non-mandatory tour of the districts before March 18, 2025, to assess the work areas. Bidders submitting bids exceeding $40,000 must include a bid bond or cashier’s check for at least 5% of the bid amount, payable to the City, with the bid bond being the preferred form. The bid bond must be accurate, as incorrect amounts will result in rejection. The contract is subject to approval via city ordinance, and all bid submissions, including the required bond documentation, must be uploaded through the designated Ion Wave platform by February 6, 2025. The project emphasizes compliance with bid submission protocols and provides clear instructions for documentation, including exceptions and pertinent information, to ensure transparency and fairness in awarding the contract.
