MRAP CAT III Buffalo Replacement Fuel Tanks

This Presolicitation Notice is being posted in advance of Solicitation Number M67854-13-R-5525 for the procurement of 90 replacement fuel tanks for the MRAP Category III (CAT III) Buffalo vehicles. The forthcoming solicitation will be issued on the basis of full and open competition. Information contained in this notice is subject to change. This notice is for information purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, or a Request for Quotes. The Marine Corps System Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Product Manager for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles, has a requirement for replacement fuel tanks for the MRAP Category III (CAT III) Buffalo vehicles. The estimated quantity is 90 replacement fuel tank kits. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements contract to no more than one (1) offeror that is capable of designing and producing 90 replacement fuel tank kits within twenty-four (24) months of contract award. The Contract will cover a two (2) year ordering period. Evaluation factors will be provided in the forthcoming solicitation. Potential offerors are advised that award will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer, and Evaluation will be based on an Acceptable/Unacceptable basis. Solicitation Number M67854-13-R-5525 is anticipated to be issued within the next sixty (60) days and will be posted on the internet at the Federal Business Opportunities website located at the following address: https://www.fbo.gov. The online version of the solicitation will include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copies of this solicitation will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the original solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a proposal. Proposals will be due no later than forty-five (45) days after solicitation issuance and shall be submitted in hard copy form only. No electronic submission of proposals will be accepted. Those responding to the solicitation have the responsibility to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Offerors are instructed to hold all questions until the solicitation has been issued. No phone calls will be accepted. All items, materials, and components thereof submitted shall be in full compliance with the Berry Amendment (10 U.S.C. 2533a). Offerors may be required to provide detailed information certifying compliance.
