This acquisition is for MRAP spare parts under solicitation SPE7LX15R0117, utilizing a fixed price with annual price adjustments and an indefinite quantity contract structure. The agreement consists of a three year base period with two optional one year extensions, totaling a potential five year performance period. Due to a lack of complete technical data, the government is limiting solicitation to approved sources, specifically identifying Spartan Motors Chassis, Inc. as an approved manufacturing source of supply. All offers must be submitted in English and U.S. Dollars, with shipping terms set as F.O.B. Origin and inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. While price is a significant factor, the final award decision is based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and surge and sustainment capabilities. The procurement is conducted under FAR Part 12 and may be subject to the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
