The contract involves adding Round 1 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) to an existing solicitation award for MRAP spare parts under contract number SPM7LX-11-D-9021. Offers are open to all responsible sources and will be evaluated accordingly, with delivery terms set as FOB and inspection/acceptance at the destination. While the procurement is subject to the Trade Agreements Act of 1979, all submissions must be in English and priced in U.S. dollars. The Government is not procuring under the commercial item acquisition policies of Part 12 but allows interested parties to notify the contracting officer of their capability to supply commercial items within 15 days of the notice. The contract is currently in its second option year, with two one-year option periods remaining. Due to the lack of complete, unrestrictive technical data, the Government plans to restrict contracting to approved sources as authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), with General Dynamics Land Systems - Force Protection designated as the approved supplier for the parts. Although detailed specifications or drawings are unavailable, interested suppliers can contact the designated buyer, Karen Boyles, for more information.
