PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), the Department of the Navy (DoN), on behalf of the Naval Medical Center, Naval Hospital Beaufort, South Carolina, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with MRS 7 Systems Inc, 19000 33rd Ave W Ste 130, Lynwood, Washington 98036 for a follow-on upgrade software maintenance agreement. MRS 7 Systems is the sole provider for MRS Software to include one user license and one site license which is to assist in tracking and documenting mammography history of patients. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. For this action, the North American Classification System Code is 511210. Based on market research and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined that the DON's requirement can only be provided by MRS 7 Systems Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities by response to this requirement to this office by 4:00 pm, EST, 18 September, 2019 via email to the attention of Renee Turner, Contract Specialist, at renee.turner4.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
