The MS-WISEWOMAN Program Provider Fee For Service Contract is a state-funded initiative led by the Mississippi State Department of Health’s Women’s Health division to address the disproportionately high rates of cardiovascular disease among Mississippi women, particularly non-Hispanic Black and Hispanic populations, where hypertension prevalence is significantly elevated.
