The Ministry of Environment and Parks in British Columbia is establishing a new Multi-Use Trail Professionals Services List (MUTPSL) for 2025 to replace the expired Trails Professional list. This list will include consultants experienced in various trail-related services such as trail planning, design, stakeholder engagement, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation, among others. The ministry manages trail networks in partnership with non-profits and ensures compliance with provincial legislation and standards. The MUTPSL will be an evergreen, live list hosted on BC Bid, enabling provincial staff and partner agencies to engage qualified suppliers for trail projects across the province. Applications for the MUTPSL open on December 19, 2025, with an initial intake deadline of February 17, 2026. All submissions received by that date will be evaluated simultaneously for administrative efficiency using consistent criteria, while applications received afterward will be assessed on a rolling basis without priority given to submission timing. Previous suppliers are encouraged to reapply, along with new prospective suppliers. The list is aimed at increasing transparency and accessibility of trail professional services procurement and fostering collaboration across government branches, local governments, and non-profit organizations involved in trail management throughout British Columbia.
