The U.S. Army TMDE Activity is procuring a single Additel ADT286-TS-PKG-110V Multifunction Reference Thermometer Readout with Temperature, or an equivalent, to replace the aging Hart Black Stack system used for temperature calibrations with Type-S thermocouples. The unit must include a Temperature Scanner Module and operate on 110V power, with full technical compliance required for acceptance. This is a brand-name purchase authorized under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) due to the unique technical specifications and limited availability of alternatives, though equivalent models are permitted if they meet all stated requirements. Delivery is to Building 5435 at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, with a mandatory delivery timeline of 30 days after order receipt. The procurement is structured as a Firm-Fixed Price contract and is designated as a set-aside for small businesses and other socio-economic categories, with award based on best value, weighing both technical acceptability and price. Offerors must submit complete quotes via email to designated contracting personnel, including UEI, CAGE Code, business size, socioeconomic status, technical compliance statements, and contact information. No discussions or negotiations will occur after submission, and award decisions are final based solely on the submitted documentation. The solicitation does not include formal contract clauses, packaging and marking instructions, payment details, or designated COR/COTR roles, and no contract value has been disclosed as pricing is to be provided by respondents. The deadline for submissions is May 5, 2026.
