This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AV9TG00300TG00 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30, Effective 17 February 2009 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20090115. This RFQ does not provide for full and open competition. The U.S Special Operations Command intends to purchase various part numbers of Webbing Sheet Panels from Texas Almet LP, 2800 E Randol Mill Rd., Arlington, TX 76011. Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract is contemplated. The associated NAICS code is 336413 and small business standard of 1000 employees. The delivery required is no later than 17 June 2009. Place of delivery will be CDR, 4/160th. SOAR (A), Bldg 3036 Stryker Way, Ft Lewis , WA 98433-9500. FOB is Origin. The Inspection / Acceptance is at Origin by a Government QAR .
