Sealed Bids will be received electronically via PennBid by the Borough of Edinboro for the Municipal Building Lower Level Renovations Project, Contract 2024-BSMT, until 3:00 p.m. on November 4, 2024, at which time they will be opened electronically and a summary posted to the PennBid website. The Work is generally described as follows: Refinishing floors, walls, and ceilings; replacing light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and doors. Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically via PennBid at no cost at www.PennBid.net There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference for this project held at the Borough of Edinboro Municipal Building at 124 Meadville Street, Edinboro, PA 16412. The pre-bid conference will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Borough of Edinboro, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to locally funded public contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Prevailing wages will apply if the contract price exceeds $25,000. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
