Full Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System , Heinz Division, Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ArjoHuntleigh 50 North Gary Avenue, Roselle, IL 60172 to provide all labor, materials, equipment for installation of retrofit plates on existing Arjo patient lifts to increase clearance in the interstitial space. The installation MUST be performed by a certified Arjo factory-trained installer as the equipment is warranted and structural integrity of the lift system is guaranteed. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and ability for the retrofit installation may notify the Contracting Officer in writing no later than August 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Such notifications must include a complete description describing company's capabilities to complete the installation as described above. Responses may be sent to contact@example.gov or mailed to Kathleen Policicchio, Contracting Officer, (90C-H) VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Upon receipt of such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source justification.
