The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mountain Home VA Medical Center, Sidney and Lamont St., Mountain Home, Tennessee intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Gill Marketing., 2128 Espey Ct., Crofton, MD 21114 for the purchase of a Hobart 2008 Model No. CFRC86E Fastrack Conveyor Warewashing System, stainless steel frame, legs, feet, front panel, top control panel, pumps and impellers, one drive unit and sprocket assemblies, one push button station and bracket and on edrive unit. Conveyor Dishwasher, two tank with a Power Scrapper, 342 racks/hour, insulated hinged doors, .39 gallon/rack, SST enclosure panels, with low temperature and dirty water indicators, energy star and accessories. The NAICS Number 423620 applies with a size standard of 100 employees. Market research was completed and found only 3 circular machines (which is the only kind that will fit) were made. There were only 2 kinds that had a GS contract one being Hobart and the other Champion. The facility called to all surrounding hospitals and all stated they had a Hobart machine with exceptional success. This company was the only company with a GS contract offering this equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties that believe they can meet these needs with an equal product must furnish sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements no later than 8:00am, June 30, 2010. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses received will be reviewed however; a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
