Full Description

The Wilmington VA Medical Center, Wilmington DE intends to enter into a sole source contract with Verizon Delaware LLC, 901 Tatnall St FLR 2, Wilmington, DE 19801-1605 to relocate Verizon data and telephone lines from the existing location of the demark in Building 1 of the Wilmington, Delaware VA Medical Center to a new location in Building 15. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517110. The size standard is 1,500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will receive all responses to this notice by 4:00 pm (EST), September 22, 2008. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Response must be in writing to the Contracting Officer.
