NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support is soliciting the foreign military sales repair of three linear actuating cylinder assemblies, identified by part number 70410-22760-055 and NSN 1650-016508978. This is a limited competition procurement under NAICS code 336413, as the government does not own the technical data and the original equipment manufacturer is the only known source for the repair. Because a Source Approval Statement applies to this item, any firm not already approved must submit a Source Approval Request, though the procurement process will not be delayed for such approvals. The acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 13 procedures and is not a small business set-aside. While the government intends to seek multiple acceptable offers, it will shift to sole source negotiations if only one quote is received. Interested parties must submit capability statements or proposals via electronic procedures on NECO or through the designated point of contact. All submissions must be received within 30 days of the synopsis to be considered for the determination of competitive procurement.
