N66001-21-P-6254 - Notice of Award to Teledyne Instruments, Inc. This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Teledyne Instruments, Inc. DUNS 962339474, CAGE Code 5ZSA5, of 49 Edgerton Dr. North Falmouth, MA, 02556-2821. The requirement is for eight (8) slocum gliders. **ITEM 1** Description: 2021 Blue Dot Sensor1 Glider. MFG: Teledyne Webb Research (TWR). P/N: GLD-0094-D. Qty. 4 **ITEM 0002** Description: 2021 Blue Dot Sensor 2 Glider. MFG: Teledyne Webb Research (TWR). P/N: GLD-0095-D. Qty. 4 The Government intends to negotiate solely with Teledyne Instruments, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 334511 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quote which may be considered by the Government. Comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via e-mail ONLY to contact@example.gov by 6 May 2021, 12 PM Pacific Time (PT). All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
