These assortments of parts are an integral part of the Sea Commander configuration, developed and fielded by United States Coast Guard (USCG). These parts interface with multiple military and commercial hardware and software products. To replace these parts with other brands would require significant and costly testing and software builds updates, documentation, and training in order for the system to work with another product. That kind of change would be prohibitive in terms of cost and time to the US Coast Guard. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.
