Diver Propulsion Vehicles are specific to the Navy Diving Community and are required to be on the Authorized Navy Equipment list for Navy use. The D3 Diving SUEX Nero SJ systems is item no. 1.8.11 CAT II Active on the authorized list and found to be the only DPV system available to NIWC and capable of meeting NIWC requirements. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising quality.
