The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a non-competitive basis with R S Microwave of Butler, NJ. This is a new procurement. The requirement is for the purchase of the following supplies: Item 0001: TRIPLEXER P/N: 00153D-1 QTY: 4 Triplexers are required in support of a frequency extension project. Since the triplexer is required to expand the capability of preexisting components currently installed, it must be compatible to allow for seamless transition into the system. Only the 00153D-1 triplexer, manufactured by RS Microwave, meets the technical requirements. Additionally, since the preexisting components were manufactured by RS Microwave, only the 00153D-1 triplexer has the integration capability necessary to meet the system standards. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising quality, accuracy, and reliability.
