The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport is hosting recurring bi-monthly office hours under the "Mastery of the Seas" initiative to engage industry partners in advancing undersea technology capabilities aligned with its strategic vision. These events occur on the first and third Tuesday of each month, starting with June 16, 2026, and include both in-person attendance at Building 80, Conference Room 208 in Newport, Rhode Island, and virtual participation via Microsoft Teams. Participants must register in advance by submitting a completed form to maria.f.gregory.civ@us.navy.mil no later than the Friday preceding each event; registration is mandatory for all attendees regardless of format. The events feature subject matter experts from key capability focus areas including Undersea Sensing, Undersea Robotic and Autonomous Systems, Cybersecurity, Advanced Materials, and AI-Enabled Autonomy, with Dr. Thomas Stottlemyer scheduled to lead the June 16 session on Undersea Sensing. The initiative seeks to foster collaboration on next-generation technologies such as low-SWaP power systems, bio-inspired sensors, anti-fouling coatings, resilient communications, and cyber-hardened autonomous platforms, though no formal contract or procurement action is underway. All participation costs are borne by attendees, and no marketing materials or promotional displays are permitted. The Government explicitly states that responses to this notice are non-binding and do not obligate funding or future procurement. Industry participants must be U.S. citizens, and company information may be published unless opted out via registration form. The primary point of contact for registration and inquiries is Maria Gregory of Code 00K, with Daniel Iwanski of Code 00T as the secondary contact. No formal contract clauses, cost data, evaluation factors, delivery schedules, or packaging requirements are included, as this is a pre-solicitation engagement tool designed to gather industry input and align technical priorities rather than initiate a binding acquisition.
